Art's Other Stuff
Art Zimmer has exemplified sales and marketing throughout his career and life. He started at the age of 12 pomoting and marketing his Boy Scout Troop increasing membership from 12 to 50 in three years.Art recently celebrated his 26th anniversary with the perennial award-winning Syracuse New Times. Art has since sold the New Times to devote more time to the Zimmer Motor Car Company.
Art has been and remains active in many community organizations beginning with his long leadership tenure with the Onondaga Ski Club. He is involved with the business community through his service to the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, Syracuse International Film and Video Festival and SCORE. He significantly supports the local arts community through his involvment with Syracuse Stage, Artstruck, SAMMY's Music Awards, SALT Awards and SALTY Awards.
